Wonderland Project

The MBTA and DCR have partnered with a private firm to make a variety of improvements to Wonderland Station.  The project includes a new central plaza, which is the first phase of a larger plaza that will connect future development and a pedestrian bridge leading to Revere Beach. In addition, MBTA and DCR will build an Ocean Avenue pedestrian bridge, improve a park between Ocean Avenue and Revere Beach Boulevard and construct a Revere Beach Boulevard pedestrian crossing. Patriot Flag Ceremony Photos

The 911 Patriot Flag is traveling the USA, to be in all 50 States before it’s retirement this Fall.  One of its’ stops in Massachusetts was at our own Revere Beach, the Oldest Public Beach in the country, on Tuesday July 5, 2011.  Photos were provided by Jennifer Terminiello.
