International Sand Sculpting Festival Returns July 21st

June 23, 2017 By Revere Journal Staff The Revere Beach Partnership is proud to announce the dates and theme for the 2017 International Sand Sculpting Festival, hosted on America’s first public beach, Revere Beach, established in 1896. CLICK HERE TO SEE FULL DAILY  SCHEDULE OF EVENTS The annual festival draws upwards of 900,000 spectators from all over the country who come to watch master sand sculptors compete for first prize in the solo and duo portions of the Master Sand Sculpting Competition. The festival also features gourmet food trucks, live entertainment, local vendors, exhibit booths, children’s sand sculpting lessons, and fireworks over the course of 3 days. This year’s festival will run Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23, 20 and the centerpiece sculpture will feature the U.S.S. The Revere Beach Partnership will once again bring Sand Sculptors from all over the world to Revere Beach; hundreds of thousands of visitors will flock to the beach.    The Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival has grown into one of the largest sand sculpting festivals in the country. Each year sculptors from all over the world come to compete for one of the largest grand prizes in the world. Sculptors work for four days creating masterpieces on the beach with nothing but sand and water. Every year the event features a People’s Choice competition where you get to vote for your favorite. Revere Beach Kite Festival set for May 15th across from Kelly’s

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   Revere, MA, April 19, 2016 – Revere Beach Partnership, the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that creates some of Revere’s best-loved events including the Sand Sculpting Festival and Pumpkin Festival, invites you to attend the Revere Beach Kite Festival, May 15th from 11AM – 2PM at Revere Beach, across from Kelly’s Roast Beef.   The first 300 kids (under the age of 12) will receive a complimentary kite.
