Guests at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the beautiful, new Vanguard Waterfront Square Apartments at 660 Ocean Ave. knew that they were a part of a special event ushering in an era of luxury living along the shores of Revere Beach.

The unobstructed views of the ocean from the Vanguard are simply breathtaking. The state-of-the-art exercise facility, the clubroom, the barbecue area, and cabanas are superb amenities. We particularly liked the modern laminate wood flooring in the kitchen, dining, and living rooms and the spacious walk-in closets. In other words, there is much to admire about the Vanguard Apartments and it is not a surprise that they are filling up quickly with young professionals and couples moving to Revere to take advantage of this exciting residential opportunity.

One resident told us how convenient the location is with its five-minute walk to the Wonderland MBTA station while being able to leave your vehicle parked at the Vanguard’s garage.

The Vanguard Waterfront Square Apartments are also bringing additional tax revenue and that certainly means a boost to the economic vitality of our city.

Mayor Brian Arrigo told the gathering at the property how as a young boy he would look forward to visiting the beach regularly with his family – and how proud he is today as the chief executive of the city to welcome the Vanguard to Revere. Arrigo credited previous leaders of the city for their vision of transforming the entire Wonderland and Revere Beach area into something grand and welcoming to residents and visitors.
