Revere has so much to offer, besides fishing, boating and sun bathing, on Americas first public beach. You can also go canoeing or sea kayaking at Bell Isle, watch live or simulcast horse racing at neighboring Suffolk Downs while enjoying a great dinner at the Turf Club. You can go ice skating at neighboring Cronin Rink in Chelsea.

If movies are your passion you can enjoy a fist run film at the Showcase Cinema. Showcase Cinema de Lux Revere is equipped with digital cinema on every screen, featuring Sony 4k projectors; a variety of dining options including Chatters Bar & Grill, and In Seat Dining in the Director’s Hall. Saugus Iron Works is a National Historic Site located about 3 miles northeast of the city of Revere. The Saugus Iron Works is the site of the first integrated ironworks in North America, founded by John Winthrop it was in operation between 1646 – 1668. The facility includes a reconstructed blast furnace, forge, rolling mill, shear, slitter and a quarter-ton drop hammer. There is of course many great stores for shopping at Northgate Shopping Center and many fine restaurants and bars on the beach and throughout the city.
