Quick answer: DCR lists accessible beach-mat access at points 6, 31, 33, and 37. Revere Beach also has two sand chairs and two floating beach chairs available free on a first-come basis. A companion is required to help operate the chairs.

Accessible routes onto the beach

Massachusetts DCR lists accessible beach mats at access points 6, 31, 33, and 37. Mats improve access across soft sand, but tides, weather, maintenance, and shifting sand can affect conditions. The mat may not extend all the way to the water.

Parking and drop-off planning

Accessible spaces, temporary restrictions, and event-day traffic can affect the closest approach to the beach. Review the current parking guide and obey posted signs. For a passenger drop-off, choose a legal stopping area that does not block a travel lane, bus stop, crosswalk, curb ramp, or emergency access.
