This policy explains what RevereBeach.com collects, why we use it, and the choices available to visitors and customers.

Who we are

RevereBeach.com is an independent visitor website and online store operated by MediaTeamUSA LLC. It is not operated by the City of Revere, DCR, the MBTA, the Revere Beach Partnership, or festival organizers.

Information we collect

Information you provide

This may include your name, email address, mailing and billing addresses, telephone number, order details, account information, contact-form messages, and newsletter subscription choices.

Store and payment information

Our store uses WooCommerce and payment providers such as WooPayments. Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider; we generally receive transaction status, limited payment identifiers, and information needed to fulfill, support, and account for an order.

Information collected automatically

We and our service providers may collect IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location, cookie identifiers, and interactions with the site. We may use WordPress, Google services such as Site Kit or Analytics, advertising technology, security tools, and hosting logs.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Process payment, ship orders, prevent fraud, and provide customer service.
  • Respond to messages and accessibility requests.
  • Send the RevereBeach.com newsletter and visitor updates when you opt in.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we use your email address to send RevereBeach.com news, event ideas, visitor tips, food guides, and occasional store or partner updates. Subscription is optional and separate from completing a purchase. You may unsubscribe through the link in any marketing email. We retain subscription information until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, subject to legal and suppression-list requirements.

When information is disclosed

We may disclose information to vendors that provide hosting, analytics, email delivery, forms, payment processing, fraud prevention, shipping, fulfillment, accounting, advertising, and technical support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, financing, sale, or other business transaction.

Affiliate links

Some links may be affiliate links. If you click one, the merchant or affiliate network may receive identifiers, device and browser information, the referring page, and purchase or conversion activity so it can attribute a referral and pay us a commission. The merchant’s privacy policy governs information it collects directly from you.

Future third-party sellers

We do not currently operate a third-party seller marketplace. If third-party sellers are added, the seller may receive the contact, order, delivery, and support information reasonably needed to complete the transaction. The seller’s identity and applicable terms should be shown before purchase, and we will update this policy as the marketplace model becomes defined.

Sale or sharing of personal information

We may sell or share personal information with advertising, analytics, affiliate, marketplace, or other commercial partners where permitted by law. Depending on the service involved, the categories may include identifiers and contact information, commercial and transaction information, internet or device activity, approximate location, referral and advertising identifiers, and inferences about interests. Uses may include advertising, audience measurement, affiliate attribution, partnership reporting, marketplace transactions, and commercial offers.

We do not sell payment-card numbers or account credentials. We will request consent before any use where consent is required by law, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.

Cookies and embedded services

Cookies may keep the store and account features working, remember preferences, measure traffic, support advertising, and protect the site. Embedded Google Maps, Instagram or other social feeds, videos, and the TripAdvisor award widget may allow those providers to receive device or usage information under their own privacy policies. Blocking cookies or third-party content may limit some features; ordinary text links should remain available where practical.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, tax and accounting records, dispute prevention, security, and legal obligations. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled.

Your privacy choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, and you may ask us not to sell or share your personal information, subject to applicable law and legal exceptions.

Do not sell or share my personal information: email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Choice Request.” You do not need to create an account. Tell us which email address or other identifier is associated with your information so we can act on the correct records. We will use verification information only to process the request.

Where applicable law requires it, we will also treat a valid browser-based Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request. Browser settings can limit cookies, and privacy tools may block analytics or embedded services. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
