Sand for the 2011 Revere Beach National Sand Sculpting Festival has arrived on the beach! This rich sand is brought in from Hudson, New Hampshire, and allows for the creation of tall, sheer, complex sand sculptures.
This photo shows the sand that will be used for the Sponsors Sculpture, a piece of art that is created to thank the sponsors of the event. The Sponsors Sculpture will be carved by Dan Doubleday and Meredith Corson of Sanding Ovations.
