The same organization that helped bring global attention to Revere Beach with summertime’s International Sand Sculpting Festival is banking on the beach being a big draw in the dead of winter also.
The Revere Beach Winter Wonderland – organized by the Revere Beach Partnership – is scheduled for February 3 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Waterfront Square. In a nod to the wildly popular Sand Sculpting Festival, the Winter Wonderland will feature ice sculptures by world-class artists and a People’s Choice competition to rank the creations.
Other event activities and features include hot chocolate tastings, food trucks, a Winter Market for shopping and browsing, fire pits, live music and a chili cook-off.
